The original tenement building was built in 1966 and was in need of structural, building envelope repairs, full deck and exterior stair replacements and full interior refinishing. The existing 8 rental dwelling units were fully retained and the building is located on a 33 feet wide lot and 110 feet depth that also includes a detached garage in the rear yard. The restoration of this tenement apartment building preserved these affordable studio and one bedroom units in the heart of Commercial drive community and Grandview Woodlands neighbourhood in east Vancouver.
