This Character retention in the Mount Pleasant west neighbourhood converted the original single family house into three residences and a new single family infill building at the rear of the property. The existing building was preserved from the exterior and a rear addition provided the flexibility to plan the three family sized units. Parking is accessed from the front existing side yard driveway as there is no existing lane access. A courtyard between the buildings accommodates for the outdoor parking pads and provides ample natural light to the dwelling units on both sides. Affordability and Character retention in the community were both achieved.
