The Western Avenue Residences is a proposed ground oriented multi family development located in the City of North Vancouver on Western Avenue, just south of the Upper Levels Highway. This design includes 18 dwelling units distributed between three buildings strategically designed to respect the site topography and the surrounding residential context. Underground parking for cars and substantial bike storage is provided in a single level below the stacked townhouses and the duplex building in the rear of the lot. A courtyard is positioned between the front two townhouses and the side by side oriented duplex at the rear of the lot. All units have direct access to the exterior providing a community feel to the common exterior spaces. Outdoor spaces are provided on the ground plane an a series of balconies and roof top decks for the townhouses with views to the local Northshore mountains.

Through this proposal, the development supports regional growth strategies and delivers a range of affordable strata housing units from two to four bedrooms, promoting livability, urban infill, and family friendly design within an established urban area.
