This 2.5 storey front and back duplex is located on the north side of Vancouver’s Riley Park neighbourhood and presents a contemporary interpretation of a traditional gable roof character home within an established single family streetscape. The primary massing is organized under a steep front gable with secondary gable accents and light shingle style cladding contrasted by black roofing and simple trim, while black framed windows are positioned to bring generous daylight into the upper floor living spaces. A modest covered entry and enclosed front yard with wood fencing define a clear pedestrian entry sequence and private outdoor space at grade for each residence.
