This project delivers a front duplex and a rear single-family infill on an RT 5 lot in the Commercial Drive area, planned to align with the established streetscape of one to two and a half storey houses. The front building uses a traditional gable-based massing with modest porch entries, shingle cladding, and wood trim to maintain a single-family scale, while stepping and setbacks manage height and articulation.

At the rear, the single-family infill repeats the gable language in a smaller volume and is arranged around a shared outdoor courtyard between the two buildings. Parking and service functions are consolidated off the lane, keeping unit entries and principal living spaces oriented to the street and courtyard.
